As part of the Year of Wellbeing 2019 Coventry’s Public Health Team is holding an awards scheme to recognise the hard work that goes on across the city to improve health and wellbeing. The awards will be judged on work that has been done during 2018-2019.
Community pharmacies get involved in so many aspects of community life and the “Innovative Community Engagement Award for Pharmacy” will showcase some of the great work done by contractors. This could be anything from presenting a talk on brushing your teeth at a local primary school, offering a service to a local business or helping a patient quit smoking after 50 years of 20-a-day habit. Whatever it is, we’d like to hear about it.
Nominations will be judged by the LPC and shortlisted pharmacies will be invited to a ceremony in July 2019 at St Mary’s Guildhall in Coventry City Centre, alongside nominees for a number of other awards recognising the work that goes on across the public health workforce.
We would like to invite you to nominate your pharmacy using the Submission Form.
All nominations must be submitted by 17th April 2019. Please email your completed form to Kathy Robinson at firstname.lastname@example.org
If you have any problems making your nomination, please contact Kathy on the above email.
We look forward to receiving your nominations!
