Public Health England (PHE) resources for the antimicrobial resistance (AMR) campaign and Stoptober campaign, which community pharmacy contractors are required to participate in, have been sent out to pharmacies by courier. The resources for both campaigns, including activation guides, are delivered together in the same clearly marked envelope.
Contractors are required to participate in the AMR campaign from 1st September-30th September 2019 and the Stoptober campaign from 1st October-31st October 2019. The campaigns are two of six campaigns, which have been agreed between PSNC and NHS England and NHS Improvement, as part of the Community Pharmacy Contractual Framework; therefore, all contractors must participate in both of these campaigns.
Social media and digital resources for the campaigns will also be available on PHE’s Campaign Resource Centre closer to the start date of the campaigns; contractors are encouraged to use these resources if possible.
Some pharmacies will have already received the campaign materials. If you have not received your packs by 27th August 2019, please email: email@example.com stating the pharmacy name, address and name of the campaign(s) they have not received materials for.
In addition to the national campaign, there will also be a local AMR campaign in Coventry and Warwickshire in November, so please hang onto your display materials and reuse them for the local campaign as well.
The digital resources and any relevant training materials will also be available on the LPC website on the following PAGE:
The Virtual outcomes AMR training is already available. You can find the flyer and course link HERE.
