Fit for the Future in Pharmacy Business @ Citrus Hotel

This workshop will give you the opportunity identify ways to improve the profitability and efficiency of the pharmacy you work in, securing a safer business future and reducing levels of anxiety. It will help you identify areas where you might be losing money and develop strategies that will help you get fit for the future.

The workshop is suitable for pharmacists, pre-reg and senior members of the dispensing team from independent and multiple pharmacies.

In the workshop we will cover:

  • Reducing losses and maximising income from the dispensing business
  • Effectively monitoring your business to plan for the future
  • Improving efficiency in the pharmacy, and
  • Maximising income from all sources

Pharmacy Forward @ BCEC Birmingham

Pharmacy Forward is the must attend one day national event for community pharmacy owners and their teams. The event is free and open to anyone involved in community pharmacy.

In association with industry magazine, The Pharmacist, the team behind Pharmacy Forward are dedicated to delivering an event that gives community pharmacists a voice, the answers and a clear pathway in this turbulent time. We will be returning to Birmingham in 2019 on May 12th.

DMU Free Postgraduate Training (apply by April 5th) @ Citrus Hotel

FAO: ALL PHARMACISTS WORKING AT LEAST 15 HOURS A WEEK IN COMMUNITY PHARMACY INCLUDING LOCUMS

Take advantage of this fully funded NHS training to grow your career and your practice.

In association with De Montfort University (Leicester) and Warwickshire LPC.

The programme has been extended to include Coventry pharmacies as well.

What does this programme involve?

  • You will identify an activity or service in your pharmacy that you wish to improve. Then apply the quality tools and skills that you have learnt to bring about an improvement
  • Attendance at 2 face-to-face sessions in Coventry at the Citrus Hotel on Sunday 19th May and Sunday 23rd June followed up by celebration evening events in September locally and/or at DMU
  • The remaining training is all online, with full access to DMU resources, Blackboard and tutors.

PCRA Community Pharmacy Meeting @ Birmingham Conference and Events Centre

The Primary Care Respiratory Academy is organising a series of Community Pharmacy Meetings in 2019.

One of the meetings takes place in Birmingham on 13th Jun 2019. The full list of available locations can be found HERE.

The Community Pharmacy Meetings will be highly interactive, with opportunities for Community Pharmacy in the new NHS England Long Term Plan being a major focus of the 2019 agenda. You will have the chance to explore remuneration entitlements, learn how to complete an asthma action plan and how to improve outcomes for your respiratory patients.
